In my book:

Ramshot TAC or AA2230
Wolf Small Rifle Magnum Primers
Hornady 55gr FMJ

About as inexpensive as it gets and you can make some damn fine ammunition with them.

Not cheaper to go with M-193 55gr (128 $ for 2000) on gun broker right now

Are you saying that you saw cheaper projectiles on Gunbroker and are questioning their quality?

If so, I'd have to see the add, but they are most likely new PRVI.  Not bad projectiles at all, I've used hundreds of them, but not near the quality and consistency of Hornady, for near the same price.

I'm loading 55gr FMJBT Hondady bullets you can get a lock stock and barrell for $64/K, using CCI primers I got at Powder valley 5k for $112, and 24.4 grains of Hodgdon H335 I got for $117 for 8 lbs.  After I pay shipping and hazmat I figure my cost to be about $165.00 per thousand.  That's $3.30/box.  Makes some fine acurate ammo.

Cheers.

Aggie

That's just the way they talk "up there".   What he means is:  " (Is it) Not cheaper ...."

Remember.  He didn't say anything about accurate, just cheap.
