Grind it flat, center punch it, drill out with a LEFT-Hand drill bit, remove it with a screw extractor. You can get the drill bit and screw extractor at any Fastener dealer or NAPA Auto parts store. Yep, and expect to potentially retap. Honestly after the purchase of all the tools it may be financially wise to find a competent gunsmith as it is a tedious job. |

And finding a thread insert for a gun screw is very unlikely. |
