Anyone resize their LeeTumble lube lead cast bullets? I'm using the Lee 124 GR LRN TL design, and am sizing all my bullets. If I don't I have problems chambering 2 out of 50 per batch

I shoot all my pistol bullets as cast and film lubed. If you are getting 4% that are oversize, you need to work on your casting technique. You are either not squeezing the handles while filling or letting trash get on the face of the blocks.

The alloy you use effects the shrinkage, thus the final 'dropped size'.

Linotype shrinks less, pure lead most, thus one mold will drop bullets of varying sizes!

If the dropped size functions and suites your needs, why waste time on the extra steps???

If the rounds don't feed properly or require excessive mouth belling to load then consider a change in alloy or sizing.

I have used the Lee taper sizer as well as my Lyman lube/sizer. Of course the Lee is faster but the lube is so messy to handle. Accuracywise? No definitive answer at this time.

So far I have not had to size my .45ACP cast. I am using range scrap to cast with and use a Lee TL in the 230 grain round nose and they come out real close. I still need to test some in my springfield and see how they will shoot in it.
