First off I apologize for not having product info because I don't know who makes it, to be honest I haven't check, but anyways I got it off ebay used for 40 bucks.  The list just said MP5 retractable stock works on GSG.  Now to the point, When the stock is fully extended, it wobbles pretty bad, and when i collapse it all the way down to the last notch (there are 3) it gets stuck and it scratches up the groove pretty bad because it is so tight.  I feel the wobble is affecting my accuracy (standing/iron sights) because I put the stock...stock on and i shoot better.  Anyone else encounter this problem and figured out how to fix it? Or do ya'll have any suggestions I could do to fix this?  Or is it just the "you get what you pay for" deal and I got to live with it.  Thanks in advance

I dont know how the GSG brand stocks are, but the Classic Army A173M that many people use have the same issues. No idea how to improve it.

I had the same problem with the CA stock I bought.
Didn't like the wobble so I bought a factory GSG stock and it is much better.

i got the CA from another member here.  i think it wobbles excessively for my tastes as well.  but being shorter as it is, it works out so that my little guys can shoot my gsg.  it stays on for them and regular stock goes on for me.  easy swap with the hk push pins.

I bought this one http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=126963155

It doesn't wobble at all and seems to be very high quality.

This is the one I have..........it wobbled just a little...but I did  a mod to it.

About a 1 1/4 back from the fully extended notches in the rails..I dremelled two more notches..(very carefully!)......Now its a four position collapsable stock.

The extra 1 1/4 inches of rail in the groove....(one position shy of fully extended)....made a huge difference!!......No wobble at all!!!

well mine is real wobbly now, by that I mean broken.  Let my coworker at the gun shop shoot it and he effin dropped it right on the butt of the stock and snapped the left guide bar, not mention cracked my rear site...I'll be giving Ray a call tomorrow.  And there is now a nice little scratch on the side as well.  Needless to say no one is ever touching my gsg again unless it is me haha

I have the CA version as well as the GSG version––both wobble a little when fully extended, but the GSG version wobbles less. The CA has a metal back plate, however, and the GSG version is plastic.

yeah my backplate was plastic, but still moved a good 3/8 of an inch up and down, not so much side to side though.  I guess I'll just have to get the one straight from GSG, or hopefully find one that is decently priced.

I bet.  but how long are your arms?  that'd be waaay to short for me to hold comfortably to my shoulder and still form some cheek weld, if any at all.

My arms are long,...6'-3" wingspan,...but, even before I made the notch, it was too short fully extended....I just make it work though
