| There is no way that I can put a scoped rifle in my safe. Just will not fit unless I don't use a position in the row behind it which I do not want to do. Anyone make a set of rings that can be easily removed but which will hold their settings? |

ARFCOM: Spends $3,000 on a precision rifle, won't spend $400 on a second safe Quoted:

QR rings and bases have no place on a precision rifle. Use the next row in the safe if you have to, that's a goofy damn excuse for a crappy mounting system. ARFCOM: Spends $3,000 on a precision rifle, won't spend $400 on a second safe In all fairness, a Savage 12 is hardly a $3000 precision rifle...but your point stands. |

ARFCOM: Spends $3,000 on a precision rifle, won't spend $400 on a second safe The rifle, without a scope, will cost about $700. Another Fort Knox safe would be around a lot more than $400. Mine, if I remember correctly, was about $1000 15 years ago. So the room in the safe argument is, I think, a valid one. So, I like the quick release rings. What else do I need with this rifle, bases maybe? If so, which ones? |

The premise stands though. |
