I just got back from the range with a buddy. He had a very very bad day. He bought a new DLASK upper about a year ago. However due to construction at his range ( my old range )he has not had a chance to shoot it. Well today he drove up for a visit and we headed out to my new local club ( I am a member at both the new and old) The DLASK upper is beauuuutiiiifull It sports a DMPS flattop upper with 14.5 inch barrel, free float aluminum handguard and DLASK flashhider. HOWEVER On his fourth shot....FTE!! The rim had been ripped clean off the case! Oh ammo was 1985 vintage IVI ( Canada ) shot 5 same thing. and 7 and 8.....get the idea?? I gave him some of my Malayian 1997 and....shot number 7 FTE!! Deformed RIM!! Any ideas as to what we should be looking at?? Oh the ammo worked like a charm in my 20" Oly SGW |
