I have been seeing this very interesting looking cheek rest on picutes of people's rifles. I want to know two things: 1) Is it solid, doesn't move when set, and well made? 2) Where the heck do I buy one? I google, and get nothing. Your help is appreciated. -g |

Very solid, VERY well made. They work great. I'm very close to ordering my second Rooster 33 |

I have several of Rooster33's cheekrests on various rifles.IMHO, it is the best cheekrest you will find. I also install a lot of them on the custom painted M14 stocks I sell and I have never recieved a complaint regarding them. They are solid, well made, and easily adjusted or removed. SKBY. |

I got it from Springfield Armory. My original stock was the very wrinkley painted stock that had a bunch of chips in it. SA replaced it with this one and it is a lot lighter then the original. I was told that it was a McMillan Fiberglass stock, but I don't know if it is or not. This rifle also has the Rooster tactical bolt stop and the NM op rod spring guide on it. Both of which I really like. |
