| Anybody know a gunsmith i can take my rifle and get some work done? I am in Miami, Fl.. I do not mind driving an hour or two to drop off. It works fine, but the door to insert the round is VERY stiff. I don't mind shipping, but I don't want to spend a fortune just for shipping. Is this an easy fix that maybe I can do? I have tried emailing Steves Gunz but I get no response. |

Yes, it is a very easy fix but you will need to learn how by reading and studying the very simple dis-assembly and assembly procedure or you might be able to figure it out by yourself.
The actual work on the gate door spring only takes a moment and is very simple, just straighten it out untill it just barely closes the gate. There is only one screw that holds it in place. Once you understand where everything goes, they are very easy to work on. |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: He sells a DVD that teaches you how to slick up your Rossi I'd suggest that you order his DIY Action Job Kit, which includes the DVD that explains how to take your Rossi apart, work on it, and then reassemble it as well as the parts. If your Rossi has that stupid bolt top safety, his Button Safety Replacement Plug. If you don't have gunsmithing, hollow ground screwdrivers, his Rossi 92 Rifle Tool Kit is also a great addition as it's useable with any of your firearms and the hollow ground bits won't screw up your screw heads. I'm really pleased with how my two and my neighbor's turned out. |
