I just acquired a Mini 30 blue.  I had the Mini 14(Hated it).  This gun intregues me.  What are good hicaps, and accesories?   I here the Thermolds are the most reliable, But at $89 each, I don't think so.  Any help Please.

The thermolds are the only hi-caps I found that would work 100%.  Other accessories I recommend are a John Masen muzzle brake, and a Choate or Hogue aftermarket synthetic stock to shrink group size considerably.  A smaller gas port bushing, Wolff extra power action spring, and/or a recoil buffer will help protect any scopes you plan to attach.  Also I think an Ultimak scout rail would also be worth considering if you ever plan to mount any red-dot of reflex type sights.  Good luck with your new rifle.  I think you will find it to be a reliable and extremely fun firearm.

I got one awhile back and really like it.The mags can be found if you look around hard enough.Ive purchased about 10 USA Mags in the last few months.Gave 16.00 Ea for the 20S and 20.00 Ea for the 30S and they were all new.I havent had any problems with the USA mags as long as I dont shoot HP bullets.HP bullets will hang up every now and then but I can live with that.

Check out www.perfectunion.com for more info on your mini 30.  This is the best site I found for owners of the mini 30 and mini 14.
