Can somebody tell what they think about this gun. I have heard Ruger has stopped
producing these guns. I have found one in good shape for $400.

Also will they accept Beretta 92 mags, I have piles of these.

Maybe I should pass and get a Storm

I had one for a while.  I liked it but I got tired of it and wanted another handgun.  I prefer the ghost ring version.  $400 for those sights is actually a little bit cheaper than they run around here.  When I got mine the trigger was awful.  But that was fixed by really cleaning the whole thing out.  I don't know what the previous owner was doing but there was a lot of silt type material in there that needed to come out.  After that it was heavy but crisp.

Pros:
-reliable with all brass cased ammo I tried--didn't like blazer aluminum
-boringly accurate and reliable
-30 round aftermarket mags available
-has scope ring mounts built in
-can get picatinny style rail that mounts on ring mounts

Cons:
-kinda heavy
-must use action stop/release to drop when locked back--can't slingshot
-pretty sure they only use Ruger mags--but those aren't expensive
-action is built into stock so you can't swap out for folder etc

When I bought mine I had been leaning towards the Storm but it felt a bit cheap.  All of the plastic bits annoyed me a bit.

Hope I helped a little.

I love mine.   I picked it up used with no mags for $320 at a gun show.   No ghost ring sights but it doesn't matter anyway since I use a dot sight.   I bought a rail for it but it sits a little high for my tastes.   I ended up putting a Bushnell dot sight on it using standard Ruger 30mm scope rings and it's just right.
I've never had a failure of any kind and I use aftermarket 20 and 30rnd magazines I can get for $17each at the gun show.   The magazines are for the Ruger P-85 pistols.
The PC9 is very well made and robust.   It's quite suprising when you take it apart because you think its just an oversized 10/22 but its very different.
It is also very accurate, even with the standard rifle sights.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, seems like it would be a great carbine for the money.

Thanks.  Now I just need to remember it the next time someone is looking for one.

I have 2 of them and I think the world of them. they take standard P95/P89 mags.. and they are just about perfect for every shooter!

I had the .40 cal with the ghost ring sights......I liked it, but sold it.

They feel very robust and havy duty, butt stroke away with this baby..haha

If it would have been a 9mm, I would have kept it.
