IIRC, the 14.5 is about three times the power of the .50, but the russian 12.7 is somewhat less powerful.

A Dshk 12.7 is very intimidating.  Iraqi Police and Iraqi Army units mount them to buildings and vehicles.  When I am near I cant help but wonder if the guy is a Jihadist in disquise, (yesterday I went out to invesitigate a fake Iraqi Army checkpoint).  The good news is I think they only mount an 50 round can so they will only get a couple of good bursts before they are empty.
