I have a standard M1A and am looking to upgrade the trigger to a national match one. I've heard that SAI will do the job fairly cheap if you ship them your trigger assembly. I've had a email in to the custom shop for over a week noe with no reply. Is it true that SAI can perform the work and is it worth it?

I'm just looking for a lighter / smoother pull.

Yes they can do a decent trigger job.  Give them a call.  I got right through to them today.  Their customer service is usually excellent.

Lot's of people can do a standard trigger job.  Ted Brown at the Shooter's Den and Warbird are two that I have used.

The full NM trigger job is not needed. All that you need to do is take the creep out of the second stage. This can be done at home by just about anyone in about 5 minutes.

Most of the time you can not tell the difference between a full NM trigger job and the quick easy job.
