Some great builds! Here are my retro SBRs An SP1 shorty (with a Cornfire selector) a GX5859 underfolder prototype clone from the 1965 Military SAWs trials, and an Armalite prototype clone with an Arizona Regulator (of a rifle that never was):

After handling it for a while and shooting and changing positions, you really get used to it, seems like a natural place for it. You don't have to roll to your side to manipulate it, almost like a rt-side side charging handle. It would be more aggravating with gloves on though. |

Confirms an opinion that I always held. Also, it is truly ambidextrous. One combined with the POF-USA inside the trigger guard bolt hold open catch would be tits. |

Well I picked the HK MR556 A4 over the Sons of Liberty Gunworks Mark 1 (next rifle). I know it’s not a SBR yet but I submitted a form 1 today.

 Found a NOS silencerco upper receiver to go with my SBR'd lower. Grabbed a Velos LBP can as it seemed off to put someone else's can on the set. Has the geissele weird 3 gas port 300 blackout barrel and whatever fat mi rail that is as I wanted something beefer to go with the look of the receivers. |
My first form 1 SBR I built just to learn the paperwork/eforms. It's a budget PSA lower, B King A2 11.5" upper with a Trijicon ACOG reflex 1x24 and TLR1 on a fsp mount. How many rounds do you think the TLR1 will survive? Long enough for me to buy a can? Haha
