And since it's a pic thread, 10.5 showing clearance. |

As for the setup, there is no can yet. Once the paperwork comes back on that, I will adjust the setup as needed. I just wanted something to shoot for now. Now back to your regularly scheduled picture thread... |

I am asking, (because it looks like it based solely on the pictures, if there is 2.5" of free barrel past the FSP.
He was stating what many have before, that a SPR/M4 can will not fit on an 11.5" barrel with a FSP. I don't disagree, but the pictures play optic al illusions on my mind. "Looks" liek there is enough room. |

There is way too much speculation going on lately. Shoot your rifle first. THEN, if there are problems call the manufacturer.

Great pics. How's the balance with that 10.5" barrel and a UBR?

Make it an old school build. I can always buy another upper with a flat top to bling out. Plus this has got me hooked, I'll likely SBR a couple more lowers now and have them set up in a variety of ways. http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/6816/img1512a.jpg http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/2140/img1496small.jpg If you want an accurate weight, hold it while you step on your scale and subtract the difference of you without the rifle. Do it with a full mag also. That'll probably only be 6-7lbs difference... |

Ask me about how I have to leave the TV or a fan on to sleep because I have a constant ringing in my left ear. I'm not your dad, do what you want. But I promise it will catch up to you. I always thought the worst that would happen would be dimished hearing. Boy do I wish I had that instead of this ringing. |

yes indeed, and the reason for building it. 6.5 hits sooooooooo much harder than 5.56 and i think its the perfect "intermediate" cartridge between the 223 and 308 without the extra weight that a 308 AR runs. |

Also good to know that someone out there has a longer wait time than me. I submitted my paperwork in early May. |
