| I have a stripped AR15 lower receiver and I want to build a short barrel rifle myself. Please help to know which NFA form to send in to the ATF, and do I need to have the barrel transfered to me through a Class 3 dealer? |

The SBR is a form 1 because you're making one. The suppressor can be a form 1 too, if you feel up to making your own suppressor. Otherwise you will be getting it from a dealer or a private individual who lives in your state on a form 4. |
