I currently live in AK and I am thinking about getting the paperwork moving to get a 9mm SBR with a Can. Here's the $400 question. I have all my ducks in a row to get it done here...what happens when I am done with my military assignment in AK? PA is my HOR and is class 3 friendly. Do I need to fill out a form to move the NFA weapon over there? Do I need to work with my sherriff back home before I PCS? Helpful hints would be greatly appreciated....Thanks! |
Yes, a Form 5320.20 (Application to Transport Interstate). Technically, the form isn't required for the suppressor, but it is required for the SBR. Go ahead and list both items when the time comes to take them out of Alaska though. |
