Greetings. Looking for recommendations / links for soft or hard cases for a SBR bbl 10 - 11.5". _ |
| I have a Tac Force soft bag. The name is pretty goofy, but it seems to be made well. They make 16", 22", 26",33" and 36" (a few more that are larger) cases in the standard three colors. The have a pocket that is basicall the same size as the rifle compartment that is lined with the softer side of velcro and they come with one triple .223 mag pouch. They also seem to be pretty well paded. Has worked for me so far, but to tell the truth I havent put it through any true hard used (rocks, mud, dropped from plane, thrown in volcano, etc...). |

f2, the question about folding or collapsable stock has everything to do with the case. Since you mentioned you are looking for a case for your ABR, I am assuming you want the smallest case for your SBR. A folding stock is going to give you a much smaller OAL than a collapsing stock. The question comes down to, "what is the OAL of your SBR"? I use both Tac Force and Pellican 1700 cases for my SBR's. I am redoing the foam in the Pellican case and as soon as it is finished I will post pictures so you have some option ideas. The Pellican 1700 case is just large enough to house a complete 7.5" AR plus a 10.5" upper with silencer attached and various optics and lights. MadDog |
SBR Overall Lengths, m499's post toward the bottom of the page: 10.5", collapsed oal 29.00". Close enough to my specs.

I've got a 10.5 gun I put in a Babolat tennis racket case. This one: cgi.ebay.com/BABOLAT-TENNIS-BAG-RACKETS-HOLDER-CASE-2-COMPARTMENT_W0QQitemZ180077138226QQihZ008QQcategoryZ20869QQcmdZViewItem |
Chill! I'm not trying to be an ass by that comment. As MadDogDan mentioned, you have to clarify which kind of stock you indeed have in order that others may offer their best suggestion. I would offer a suggestion but unfortunately the brand of AR bags that we have here locally are not available there where you are. Jeez. |
