I thought I was buying a NIB Socom ll and as soon as he got my money orders all communication stopped and no gun was shipped. I then tried to Google the company and found out that he has scammed over 50 people on Auction Arms and Guns America and other venues for over $40,000 This man is being looked for by Private Eyes hired by some of the people he scammed, Internet fraud, mail fraud and other crimes to be put on him if they ever find him. He has been scamming people since early 2007 I found. |

This guy said his name was Sam and used the last name of Stone, but he has multiplke aliases. There are 7 pages of stuff about him on 24hrcampfire I found. Why is it I found all this info on him after I had looked up the company one time and it had nothing really on them and after I started really digging today did I find all the bad things out. After he burned me for $1285. I know he probably made 10 K last week, what a way to do it. I talked to this guy and told him I am 51 and living on $1100 a month from SS Disability and am going to gunsmithing school and it took me 8 months to save the money to buy this and he rips me off. I mean how low can you get. I'm going to school to get retrained because I want to work and make money the honest way I guess

GunsAmerica has no coverage policy. I've been emailing them since Tuesday about this and still no response.
I'm out the money. Sucks But ......I put this alert on the Florida hometown page and got 2 calls from local people there. many arfcomers are searching for him. Plus I sent all the info from the web on this guy( it took 17 pages to print it all) down to Florida with a friend who is retired state patrol and he's teaching a seminar to the local law, where this guy operates. All the gun dealers in the area have been notified to keep an eye out, by a local gun shop owner who has done business with him and says the picture in the printout is him. Man, that really sucks. I'm in Colorado too, and if you need to come over and shoot/vent, I have a private range out back. What needs to happen to catch this scumbag is to find another gun he's selling, and have someone in FL scout out the PO where the money order is sent to. You'd need someone sitting in the PO and watching the PO Box 24/7 until he came. If I got ripped, I'd fly down there and do it myself.  |

| I just got a call from a guy in Ohio who he ripped off too, same auction just different gun. $1235.00 hat's just what I know of and that's close to 3700 bucks in less than 2 weeks. What that ass didn't know is this man is on the sheriff's dept. in Ohio and he's not happy either |
| I feel for you man. I'm on SS disability too. It takes forever to get that kind of cash together, and if it gets gone that way, it's a major hit, because you have no way to make it up, since you can't so anything to earn any extra cash or you'll lose benefits. It would be good if they'd let you ween yourself of if you're able, like with a work at home job in my case, like internet business or something where I can lay down when I get too sick to work. Just turn in earnings and subtract it from the monthly check, until your earnings get high enough to substitute for the check. It would save the taxpayers money and make people like me and you feel better about ourselves. |

He is a "BIG" slimeball. A few months ago i was selling som HK mags on sturm and lo and behold he pops up with an i'll take it. (He wasn't even smart enough to use an alias) I replied in the thread, NO DANA you cant have them. I think most of Danas messages come out of Tampa FL..... some of his names- dropdbomb,doorgunner..,nuke somthing or other and a few others. Seems like all the big scammers are out of Fla. No offense Fla. guys. I will keep an eye out for this other "slimeball" |

If you have any info post it some of us in the info biz might be willing to donate a few dollars of time and research to helping a fellow member. |

Google Frederick Webster and you will see a whole bunch of people he's burned, and then about the 3rd post or so down the page you will see the 24 hr campfire heading, click on that and you will find 7 pages of crap about this guy. The picture posted there is definately him. I have been called by someone that has had personal dealings with him for verification.
