Mine measured out to 10.5"; close enough to CQC length. Running a brakeout so not worried about the suppressor warranty, just hoping I have the money and time before my next deployment to get the can. |

One hundred and freaking six degrees this weekend but the new toy made it all worth it! I found out the Heavy has a little more recoil when the rear sight took a bite out of my face. Giving the SCAR-L some love. First ever malfunction after 3k rounds w/out cleaning. Happened twice with the same shooter. Tried to reproduce the problem myself with the same mag/different mag/same mag different gun but no joy. Still can't figure out exactly what caused this. LOL |

Yeah Doc, that Blackout indexes over a portion of the barrel to shorten the overall length of the barrel + silencer. If you look close you can see two notches right behind the prongs, which is where the barrel ends and it is threaded. If I have time later tonight I'll post some pics here of my barrel. I just got it back from Marvin with that flash hider pinned on.

My Scar 16S (soon to be chopped to 10") and friends.....I need to get optics for the SR15 and I ordered a new BUIS for the Scar.
photo: http://i54.tinypic.com/2h5jj4j.jpg - I started marking all my guns & gear (ref. blue "15") as my buddies kept getting the same stuff and at the range its just easier to keep up with individual gear this way. |

I have one on order for my 17S and I'd love to hear some feedback on the scope! It sounds like it has almost everything I need... |
