It actually isn't too bad - as you can see those guys in the background only using single plugs in their ears.
I like to double up ears all the time.

We're just under a canopy but its all open.

I like it, the top mounted docter works for me.
Repeatable results and pretty fast to use.

I do also like the Aimpoints and Eotech RDS, magnified  I have on my ARs.

10" CQC barrel installed... Check
Vltor Handguard installed... Check

Realizing you need to remove all of the above to install the Surefire Socom Brake hiding on the kitchen table, DOH!

Found this 17 at a LGS this weekend which someone had brought in as a trade-in.  It couldn't have had more than a hundred rounds fired through it, if that.  I'm ready to ditch the brake and the trigger for sure.  It shot great.

Yea, I had the muzzle break changed on my 16 Saturday. I shot it for a while, went and had it replaced to a flash hider, and returned to the range to shoot some more. Be aware that you will have to rezero the gun when you make that change

With that particular mount and optic, yes.

I'm referring to the Trijicon (?) thats mounted on top of the optic. I'm guessing that's at least 5 if not 6 inches offset?

Optic height relative to the bore is one of the big reasons I stopped using my SCAR 16 for 3 gun.

The LT158 clears the Troy backup I have on there, it's just mounted a little bit forward because I shoot NTCH.

The LT158 should clear just about any rear flip-up BUIS.  What BUIS are you using?

To clear the rear sight you will need something AR height, which is taller than standard high rings.  1.5" minimum, preferably more.

From last weekends EAG class in Congaree, SC.  I put 1,200+ rounds through it over 3 days, both suppressed and unsuppressed, and it had no malfunctions.

Cheers
