CQB barrel cut by PMM Branham rail - my personal favorite extension and way underrated Surefire MB and SOCOM suppressor - might got to a KAC QDC Micro T1 on a KAC mount |

I haven't had it long enough to to know yet, but I guarantee it takes a lot more rounds for it to burn skin than an unexposed gas block would. I mean, it's no different than a normal AR with a rail over the gas block. Short answer, I'm not worried about it |

Thanks. I gave it a bit of thought, and I think I'd rather save for a proper factory 14" bbl./ perm. pinnned SF3P, before risking the possibility of chrome flaking off the re-crowned chopped 16" bbl. Man does that bitch look long, though. |

View Quote If you plan to sell off the 16" barrel to offset the cost that's one thing, but don't worry about the chrome flaking or anything like that if you chop it. I've got nearly 20,000 rounds through 3 different barrels cut by Marvin Pitts without a single issue. Stephen |

It is here: http://www.skdtac.com/Troy-Enhanced-Battle-Ax-CQB-Grip-p/tro.404.htm It fits the SCAR without modification. Be aware that there is also another version of the Battle Ax Troy grip, but it looks different. That one is here: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/3058281563/troy-industries-battle-ax-cqb-grip-ar-15-polymer I believe this one will fit the SCAR too, but I don't care for the look of it. I like the Enhanced grip I have, as the grip angle is a little different. |
