I just put one on layaway and I believe they are referring to the "heavy caliber".
I don't know the barrel thickness but it's defiantly not a heavy barrel.

Currently there are no options. You buy a 17 or a 16 thats the only options us civilians have.

17H is for heavy, as in caliber.

The barrel is not heavy but it is bynomeans a pencil barrel about the same diameter as a gov profile barrel.
