I bought a Mk1 SLP a little while back with intention to get into 3gun. While practicing if I run the gun copletely dry and the bolt locks back I have to release the bolt before I can load the tube. Coming from a Browning Maxus as my fudd/hunting gun it autoloads when it's empty and locked open.
Is there a mod that can be done so I can load the tube with the bolt locked open or will I have to throw one in the chamber, release the bolt and then reload the tube? I know it can't be converted to work like the Browning but I'd like to be able to lreload the tube with the bolt locked open. |
| Nope there isn't one. Just need to practice the "Oh $hit" port loading technique. You can get very proficient with it, less than 2 seconds from lock back-port load-fire.
