Is $1600 a good price for a new Unfired SOCOM II with extended Cluster rail?

Don't know the seller but 1500 is a kickass price for one of these.

Thats sweet.

Only thing is it doesnt have the extended rail on top the goes to the rear sight base...Which is the model i want.

Honestly i would pay 100 bucks more for that extended rail.

Does anyone know if you can you remove some of the rails?

I like the socom ii but I don't need that frankenstien front end.  Just the elongated top rail and a small bit underneath.

I guess I am just trying to make it look like the fulton armory super scout w/o having to pay an extra 1000.

Any advice would help

The bottom rail is single piece, but it is pretty big and clears up alot of space when you take it off. Push two pieces and it comes off, takes 2 seconds. I think the side rails are screwed into the top section from the inside. They are short rails anyway so I have never tried to take them off. Besides I have a front sling mount on my side rail.
