Anyone here ever install the light into their SP10?  I know this is a stupid question, but do I have to cut/drill to accomodate the wire for the pressure switch?  There doesn't appear to be any other way of routing it, but before I started making major modifications I thought I would see how others have accomplished this.  Pictures are welcome, please!

I don't have pics...but I drilled a hole in the rear of the housing just wide enough for the pad to slip through....the rest is pretty east to figure out.  I used a scratch owl to mark the hole centerd on the housing and then used a steady hand and went very slow.  It wasn't rocket science.  It looked great when I was done.

No, I didnt think it was difficult, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being a complete moron by drilling into my reciever, which is something I try not to do.  I figured that was the only way to do it, but at the same time it didnt make sense to me that a receiver built to house a light wouldnt have a method for running the wire for that light.

There is the other option of machining off the light housing and attaching a Picatinny rail.... if you're so inclined that is.  ––ST
