Hello to all, I have been looking for quite some time and haven't found out much about the A2-RA suppressor. Is it being produced? If so who has any experience with it? What kind of real world rep does the company have? Any usefull info appreciated.  Anyone have any experience with other items in their lineup? TIA. Jerry

SWR is a Great company!!!  Awesome CS.  The A2-RA is in production, but there is no firm date of when they will be done.  I talked to Henry about the A2 this week.  He said it is working- they would not give a date.  I have a few coming in the first round of cans- I think they will give the Halo and some established QD cans a real whoopin.

The Trident is a beast- I run it on my F/A UZI all the time and it works like a champ.  The Spectre is built like a brick $hit house- can handle 17,22, 22 Mag, 5.7.  Both cans are full auto rated and are in the top of their class for suppression.  Great prices for them too!

I have their Trident and an older suppressor, the QD3K. Both are excellent suppressors.

Quality, customer service and designs are top notch. I would say that SWR is one of the top tier suppressor manufacturers out there.

I had an A2-RA on backorder for over a year before I canceled and went with an M4-2000.
That said, now that the A2-RA is actually about ready to be released, I would wait for it...

The A2RA is the "two weeks" of suppressors.  It has been almost done for about a year...  There must be some kind of problem with it...it just ain't that hard to build a can and sell them.

SWR said they would reply to questions in the Suppressor thread and that they rarely go over to their Industry site so I hoped they would get in on the conversation here also. I have a friend that stocks some of their cans but he has been out of the country enjoying an African hunt for the last three weeks. I hope to talk with him soon, maybe he has some info. I am interested and in the learning stages of possibly getting a can. There is much to learn and so many options available.

We greatly underestimaed the amount of work and tooling that would go into producing it. We are working on getting the first production batch finished. The last thing I want to do it string someone along waiting for a new product. It will begin shipping as soon as we have it finished and at this point I can not give an estimated ship date.

Henry's good people . I have a Warlock , Spectre , Trident , HEMS2 , and an OMEGA-300 . I am well satisfied with all of them . I'd like an A2-RA down the road ...

I can't wait for the release of this suppressor.... I've been following this for a while now.

Henry, could you please post some new pictures?!

I got to shoot & play with one last year.  It was a nice product then and know it will be better when the production models are available.  Sorry to see it has taken this long but SWR doesn't want to rush it and bring something half-assed to market.  So, we'll all have to be a little more patient I suppose.

I agree. Good things come to those that wait. I hate companies that don't do the job right the first time and you spend your time sending the product back and forth.
