Does anyone have any first hand experience with this model? I looking into getting my first suppressor it will be for a ruger 10/22 and mark II. Are there better options out there. I would like one that couple be disassembled and is as close to as "hollywood Quiet" as you can get. Thanks |

I've been looking at the same can and from the research I've done there are quieter and cheaper 22lr cans. But if you want a multi-caliber can the Spectre seems to be one of the best. Here is the 2008 updated test from Silencer Research Link One of the biggest concerns that I've seen is that many 22lr only cans are in the 3oz range as opposed to the Spectre at 8.5oz. Check the forum at SR and you'll find some owners of the Spectre and their feedback. |
| Sold 5 of them. They are heavy but; It is not that noticable. There is a video of SWR shooting a full auto 223 with one. Not recomended but they are built like tanks and have over 40 db sound suppression. They are well worth the money. Can also use with 22 mag and the 17 cals |

i have been researching 22lr suppressors for a while now and am leaning towards the Spectre as my next suppressor. Multi cal and full auto rated, and take apart on top of that. They also did real well in the silencer shootout with the P22 (which is the primary host) . I am also planning on getting a M16 with a 22 upper (have a surefire for the 556) and the spectre seem like it would fit well with the hosts that I have and hopefully will have. |

I have the TAC65 and I really want the Spectre also...........what I really meant is i do not want to sell my TAC65 but I want to purchase another 22lr. suppressor. The TAC65 is great especially for bolt actions.....thats want I really want to use the TAC65 on.........and the Spectre for my P22. |
