Looking for first 22 suppressor purchase..got it down to these 3...i know the spectre weighs much more..but what else can you tell me about the differences between them.

i will use on a custom 10/22 and a sig mosquito..

either Spectre or Element. I bought a spectre and am VERRRY happy i did. you can clean with the harshest of agents to get it sparkling new. The tube on element i THINK should not be used with the 50/50 dip but now i think theyve changed to tube ss or something else that will stand up to it.
either way, youll be happy.

You will get the most utility out of the Spectre.  It is also the most rugged of the 3 and it is super quiet.  I would personally take the Spectre over any 22LR can on the market today.

Go with the Spectre.

The Element will be a bit quieter, but by the time you move into .22lr sound levels the difference will be fairly hard to detect. Spend the extra $100 on ammo.

Now... how attached are you to the Mosquito? I, and several others, have had a bitch of a time finding subsonic ammo that will run it reliably.

I have both and shoot the Spectre more.  I have two different 5.7 guns so it gets the most use.
I also think the Spectre's knurled end is a fantastic design as there is no way for the endcap to loosen as you unscrew the can.
The Element is very good and I am glad I bought it too.

well sounds like alot of good things with botht eh spectre and element..my biggest concern is the extra weight on the spectre when on a pistol..be it a mosquito or p22..on my rifle im not worried obviously.

how much of an issue does the weight play?

weight does play an issue with the Spectre, due to its heavy weight it causes cycling issues with some host that don't have a fix barrel. An Advantage Arms 22lr kit for example

My 7 year old shoots a P22 with a Spectre.

I have a Element and love it.  The thing is super tiny for a suppressor and meters great.

I own a Checkmate suppressor as well.  Here is a size comparison.

I have not found the weight on the spectre to be an issue.  At 8.5 ounces, it is still relatively light.  I typically run it on a P22, mosquito, and buckmark.  I like the price point much better ($495 vs $595).  My ears cannot tell the difference between the spectre and the element.

Ultimately, I think you will be happy with either.

One more thing:  the spectre comes with the pusher tool - making the price gap between the two even larger.

Street price on the Spectre can be alot lower.  I got mine for $400 + tax.   I find the weight is not an issue either, even on a host as light as the P-22.

I'd go with a lighter unit than the spectre.  Its a great can for dipping and quiet on pistols but like a lead pipe on a tactical solutions barrels if you ever get a better pistol than a mosquito or p22.  A four inch TC Buckmark barrel is 4oz, less than half the weight of the nearly 9oz spectre. Well built tank of .22s.  If you can get a good price on a IN-STOCK element then get it. Otherwise Gemtech  has a new takedown unit, Alpine, which is promising like the classic Outback.  Cant go wrong with the SilencerCo Sparrow either.  A few months ago I was in the same position as you and I went with the Sparrow after a long research and testing. Any of tem will be great nevertheless. Enjoy

The Warlock was my first can.  I still shoot it and I like it.  It's lightweight and very quiet.  With that said, I am now waiting on the forms to come back for my Spectre.  I'm going to have these for life, and the ability to clean the spectre should make it last a lifetime.  So, my advice is.......GET BOTH!  And you should be able to get the spectre for ~$400.
