After a couple hundred rounds my SW-5 has a FTF problem the last 3 to 6 rds. in the mag. Also wanted to get some trigger work done. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Sounds like you're just looking for a gunsmith, i'd check with jayson @ IGF.  Just out of curiosity, what happens on those last rounds?  I had problems with FTEs early on in my SW's life, but after the first hundred of +P, my baby is fine.

Good Luck

Thanks for the info. Just got back from a mountain lion hunt. When the weapon gets dirty it about bends the round going into the chamber in half or jams the spent round between the bolt and the fresh round. Once it is clean no problems. I have checked the springs in the mags. and they are good. So I may just put a better bolt in. I will check the links everyone provided for a bolt.

Thanks again.

Pretty sure ORF is currently busy setting up their new equipment.  For the next month I think.

Check the top of your ejection port and see if the paint finish is nicked from the spent rounds hitting it.

I was also having problems with the last 2 rounds feeding.

I'm sure you're not as stupid as I am but all my mag springs were installed upside down. The closed end goes at the top, in the follower.

Once I installed the springs properly my FTF problems disappeared.

YA ORF is super busy. I have a call into IGF. Thanks for the link Darkest2000 I guess I am a dumb#%&$ not being able to find it.  I checked my mags and they are good to go. These problems only happen when she gets a little dirty. Going to go put rounds down range Friday and will follow up with what happens with the advice you alll have provided.
