| I had a customer bring in his sx3 because it was jamming. Well im at my wits end on whats going on. With the gun completely stripped except for the bolt carrier group and the recoil spring, the bolt binds at the farthest most point of the ejection cycle, when i remove the spring and plunger, the bolt goes all the way back with out any hang ups. So i figured the plunger was catching on some obstruction in the tube, i disassembled the tube and did not find anything out of the ordinary, so just as a precaution, i polished all the bearing surfaces of the plunger. still the same problem. what i think is going on, is that when the spring is applying pressure to bolt carrier that it is pushing it up and binding it in the receiver. Has anybody encountered this or has a fix or least any ideas? |
