Well, just rolled out a new Savage Mark II FXP (the Wally World special) last weekend, and ended up with numerous failures to extract within the gun's first 100 rounds. The cases weren't stuck, the extractor just wasn't grabbing. After floating around on rimfirecentral and a few other boards, it seems this is a common issue with these rifles. A quick call to Savage (413-568-7001) and they were happy to send out replacement parts without even getting a s/n from me. Quick, painless resolution.. I like that
