I am planning on buying a Savage 110 in 7mm magnum.
Getting it from a buddy at work, he has never 'bonded' with it and can't put together a good grouping.
He grew up shooting a .243 and him,me and everyone I talked to just thinks he is recoil sensitive.
He is going to get a .270 next week if I buy this from him.

Here's the breakdown.
Comes with original wood stock, plus a Bell&Carlson kevlar/plastic mix(I think).
60 mixed rounds.
Scope mount and rings(don't know what kind)
That for $300

The scope on it now is a Burris Fullfield 2 3x9
He said an extra $150 for the scope.

The real question I have is since the gun is quite inexpensive, do I give him the scope back and upgrade?
It's a long time before I will need it to hunt so I could wait and save some cash for something nice.
Anyone have a setup like this or similar?
Thanks again for any advice!!!
