Has anyone used the following combination: Larue Tactical Mount with a Leupold 51850 and a Smith mount on a "loaded" M1A from Springfield? . . . . . .

That's one tall set of mounts. Mebbe too tall.
A good friend's M1A has an ARMS base, with an IOR M2 scope mounted on Leupold low mount QD rings. Needs a modest cheek QD cheek riser. From scope to irons in less than 3 seconds.

That was my thinking too...this mount was built for an AR flat top platform.
