Guess what I found at the range .. Two New rifle rest bags front and rear someone forgot and brass 9mmx102pcs / 40s&w 136pcs / .45acp16pcs / 5.56 53pcs / 308 3pcs ... |
+2 I found this Cadillac in the parking lot... someone must have left it there for me when they went in the store... it's all a matter of principle, not disparity |
|
| Hell I don't even have a 9mm but as soon as I have a nice box of brass I am going to give it away to someone that has one like I always do...along with my damaged cases in various calibers ... I have been picking up brass for guys. I don't know tiring to be a nice guy these thugs that use the range shoot a lot of 9mm and never pick up the brass... |

good point I hope so!!! I am regretting even going to the range today BTW
|
Why the regrets? If I forgot and left my bags at a public range I would expect them gone forever. Imagine how pleasantly surprised someone will be that you made an effort to return them. |

I think there are differing standards applied to what one finds at a public, as opposed to a private range. If I left something at a private range then I think it would *probably* still be there if I returned soon thereafter. But, anything left at a public facility I would consider a write off, and be absolutely shocked if someone tried to return my property. You noted you would return the bags if you could locate the owner; this is not the moral compass of a thief. If you post a note and no one calls, then you've done all you can do. You've made an honest attempt. Period. |

He just got them @ cabelas this was the first time he used them he had cheepo ones before ...So we met up for a afternoon shoot today and had a great time ...Funny thing is I would have told him the story anyway and would have returned them with out question .... I told him about the thread here we had a good laugh (he tried to claim the .223 brass but was not going to happen |
