Does the Scout come with a NM trigger like the loaded?

I would like an 18" barrel, but don't want to pay more for it than a loaded and still not have the same quality barrel and trigger.

How hard would it be to cut the loaded's barrel to 18"

No, but you can have the trigger tuned to NM spec's.
BTW, the 18.0" Springfield barrel is very accurate

What does that cost?

How hard would it be to cut the Loaded barrel to 18"?  Doing this would also save me from having to buy a flash hider.

I've had both.  The Loaded is a big long rifle that allows you to shoot through the handle on a teacup you can barely see.  My 16" barreled Socom ][ shoots nearly as well but has a comparitively gigantic aperture and front sight blade.  The shorter form factor, night sight, flexibility, and overall ugliness were the reason I switched over.  If I had to answer your original question, I'd say get a Scout.

Your idea of modding a loaded sounds cool, but you should know that the first half of the loaded's barrel has a huge diameter - might turn into a bunch of unexpected work.

I don't care about the forward optics mount, jsut the barrel length.

How much more does the Loaded weigh?

How much more accurate is the Loaded with its NM barrel?
