Does the Scout come with a NM trigger like the loaded? I would like an 18" barrel, but don't want to pay more for it than a loaded and still not have the same quality barrel and trigger. How hard would it be to cut the loaded's barrel to 18" |

I've had both. The Loaded is a big long rifle that allows you to shoot through the handle on a teacup you can barely see. My 16" barreled Socom ][ shoots nearly as well but has a comparitively gigantic aperture and front sight blade. The shorter form factor, night sight, flexibility, and overall ugliness were the reason I switched over. If I had to answer your original question, I'd say get a Scout. Your idea of modding a loaded sounds cool, but you should know that the first half of the loaded's barrel has a huge diameter - might turn into a bunch of unexpected work. |
