I have installed and programmed alarms back in the Moose/1980-early 90's era. I am Lutron Homeworks Interactive/Crestron,etc automation experienced. I am an Master Electrician/Electronics Tech/PC/VFD Drives,etc experienced. I put in a Vista at last house and some wireless stuff, two key pads, 5 hard wired motions, two horns, glass breaks,etc.
I have been lazy and looking at Safe Mart, Front Point, Simplisafe, all the big name brands and the long contracts. I have decided that I will hard wire what I can get to easy here at the new house and do wireless for the rest and the outside shed. The Simon XTI panels look cool. I want smart phone interaction/app,cell dialer, I will have 5-6 motions, 3 doors(wireless I dont want to fish, but could), and 3 windows wireless that motions wont overlap, and two keypads, and at least 2 key fobs. I want 1- 100+ DB siren in my return air, a sien/strobe in the soffit hard wired and monitored zone. I want the ability to have some of the motions armed when in the "stay"/at home mode, this covers areas where we would not go in the night while sleeping. So where online is a good place to buy gear? What panel do you pros recommend?How do I do cell dialer just buy card, then the sim from my cell company? I can run wires, program,etc. Thanks |
