Any general rule of thumb on how to price a used safe in good condition? I'm moving really soon and the new house won't fit the old safe so I'm going to have to buy a couple smaller ones to replace it.

Safe is nothing special, a Bighorn 33 gun (made by Rhino?) that I paid around $1300 for. What do you think would be fair price for a quick sale?

Probably $600-$800.

I sold my $1400 shipped safe for $1000 that was 3 years old without even advertising or trying to get more.

See if there is a dealer or independent locksmith safe shop and see if they will buy/trade for what you want?  That would solve two problems, getting them into the new place and removing and selling the old one.

eBay, Craigslist or EE with your AO posted.

I checked online sites for new and looked at ebay, craigslist and forums for used prices, then priced mine as I thought was fair. In less than a week I had my asking price for a 6 year old Ft Knox. I got about 90% of what the best price I could find for the same model new.
