Atlantic Firearms has these for sale. They are manufactured by Allied Armament. Has anybody shot one or used one of these? Any info would help. Thanks John

You do know that the ones MGS sells are not made by Allied Armament right?  The are made by Wise Lite Arms.  Most of the Intenet "reviews" are on the Wise Lite Arms rifle, not the Allied Armament one.

In fact, I have yet to find a review of an Allied Armament PPSH-41 . . . . so if you know of one, post the link.

I just got a new one from MGS (Wise Lite manufactured). Works fine.
Even my wife likes it

Well that is not really all true, allied armament is usually the old striker fired design that WLA used in their inital design. So any reviews of the early production WLA should apply to the AA version.

in fact the guy who makes them at AA use to work at WLA.

Assuming you are correct, I'd have a few questions:
--Is the "new" WLA design superior to what the used to do?
--Why is AA using the "old" design?
--How come there are no range reports to be found on the AA gun?

She's a former commie from the USSR.
We were messing around in the backyard with the gun and some milsurp clothing to photograph. I then ran the image through some digital filters to make it look old.

I never said I didn't believe you pal . . . re-read my post.

Seems to me, if you have accurate information on the subject matter you posted on, you'd have no issue with a few follow-up questions.  I am sure I am not the only one that would like to know the answers . . .

I'm building my own using a MGS Hungarian parts kit (with 16in barrel), Cold Steel Solutions receiver and trunnion, IOinc bolt/trigger kit.

I'm going to be able to build it for about $500

I'm using a dremel to cut the holes and I am nearly done with that. It will be finished in a few months.
