| I was talking to a buddy of mine telling him that a Company once made a semiauto version of the M60 machine gun, but I can not find any reference to it on-line. Anyone know where I can find more info on it? |
|
There are a couple of others that make them as well but I'm not sure who. www.usord.com/M60Semi_USORD.html ![]() |
| I saw one of those semi-auto M60s at the local range, Angeles Shooting Ranges. He couldn't shoot more than 4 or 5 rounds, before it jammed. It looked really cool, but they just cost way too much. |
Same thing I witnessed when I saw someone playing with one about 5 months ago. I'd recommend against it, considering its $5500+ price tag. |
Do you think it's capable of bump firing? Or is it too heavy?
|
I've never fired a '60. But I figure it should have a fair amount of recoil, being 7.62 NATO and all... If a guy could bump one... I just might get one. I mean, who doesn't want their own little slice of belt fed mayhem!!!! buwahahahahahaha!!!! ![]() ![]() ETA: the obligatory GET SOME!!!!

Both hand cranks and original style Gatling guns (all sizes, all dates of manufacture, all calibers. Just have to follow original design type) are ruled "Legal non-MG's" by ATF because you have to physically crank the handle for each shot to fire. If you attach an electric motor to it, it just became an illegal MG (unless of course, it's registered, but then why?) |
