OK, stupid question.  I am using WillMaker to create my trust.  In part 3, it is asking me to "Enter item of trust property".   What do I list here.  I know that my suppressor will be added as trust property but I have not yet purchased the can.

Thank you!

You can enter "none" for trust property or add one dollar. The software just wants an entry to proceed to next step.

I've been reading on trusts all week with my brother.  We're in VA, and a trust isn't actually active and valid here, based on responses from two different lawyers, until it's "funded", meaning you have to have either $1(which is what most people use, listed by serial number) or transfer a piece of property to it, for us it's a lower transfered to the trust, which you can then use to apply for SBR on a Form 1.  Technically, it isn't proper for the trust to file a Form 1 to SBR it until the lower has been transfered to the trust's control (or so the lawyer says), and I can see that as far as time line goes.

Trust property on the schedule of property can be modified and ammended at any time, as long as you follow any additional transfer requirements(such as titles for cars, etc).

Check with your state, and state code can usually be researched online.

+1 that's what I did. When willmaker asked for trust property, I transferred a regular ar lower to the trust and that is the lower that I plan to make an sbr with.
