In the movie Platoon,  Barnes pulls (and genly uses) a push dagger on Taylor.  Looks like a Cold Steel to me but all new products from CS look a bit different.  New products have a more acute angle to the blade and are not as broad.  Anyone knoe the actual model used in the film?  Where I can find one?

It is a Cold Steel. I don't recall the model, but I think it was the only one they made at the time. If you find a source, let me know. I'd like to get one too.

Ok,  I think I answered my own question.... well half of it.  It looks like a CS Safe Keeper I.   The Safe "Maker" series has a narrow blade and the older "Terminator" series had a recessed blood groove.

Bad part is..... I can find for sale Safe Maker II and III series (considerably smaller) but not the original Safe Maker I.

Sorry,  I meant I need to find a Safe Keeper I
Not Safe Maker....
