Another knife sharpening thread, sorry guys.
I see a lot about the Sharpmaker on the site, so I know it is tested and good. I came across the Lansky and it looked pretty nice too. I have never sharpened knives before and I am very new to this end of the forum, I just don't want to mess up my up and coming blades. What I like about the Lansky is the angles are kept through out sharpening. I can see myself screwing up by moving an angle and really messing up my blades. For now the only real blade I have worth mentioning here is my Kershaw Scallion. My next purchase appears to be a fixed blade along the lines of a RAT. So what says the hive about the Lansky system? |
