Anyone here ship pistols alot?
Ups will only ship pistols next day air ($100 bucks)and I was just told by the USPS that I had to ship pistols form one dealer to another,
they would ship rifles and shotguns but no pistols.
What carrier do you use?

FedEx or UPS are your only options for pistols and they both require that you ship next day air. Prices are about the same for either one.

I ship several handguns every week via USPS Priority Mail. (by law, only dealers & manufacturers can mail a handgun)

Try and find a dealer who will mail it for you.........you'll save $$$.
If it will fit in a USPS Priority Mail medium Flat Rate box:
Postage w/ signature confirmation is $13.30
Insurance is $1.00 per hundred + .70 ($600 worth of insurance would be $6.70)

So a $600 handgun would run $20.........and get there in 3-5 days
I charge my customers $10 plus the actual postage & insurance.
So $30 vs the $50-60 UPS/FedEx will charge for Next Day.

UPS also requires "Adult Signature Required" service.
