I have recently moved from Iowa to Alabama. In the move, I took the long guns I use all the time and left a few in a secure location back in Iowa. What is the best way to transport them all here? I'm thinking USPS priority or FedEx perhaps?

Thanks in advance.

Doesn't UPS have the most firearm-friendly regulations?  Why not use them?

+1 for USPS Priority Mail.

Very easy to do.

Thanks,

UPS stinks you have to declare it as a firearm and then they will not take it unless it is an FFL to an FFL.

USPS is better, but no handguns ever. DHL will not ship any firearms.

Looks like USPS is the winner.

I brought all the handguns with me when I moved, so no worries there. I'm shipping about 15 longguns, so no matter what it isn't going to be cheap, but at least I'll have them with me and not in another state.

Thanks for the replies.

That is not true.  I shipped a rifle to a FFL via UPS and had no problems.  Walked in, told them what it was, they shipped it.

You can ship to yourself by UPS also. Look at there regs and print a copy to take with you. You need to go to a UPS owned hub or drop. No independent locations.
