| I should mention: Blasphemous as it is, I never cared much for FALs, and only bought the rifle because my buddy needed the money. Now that I have it, I'm more than impressed with it. While it's not a rifle I'd want to lug around in the field due to its weight, I'm very impressed with the overall quality and *feel* of this rifle. It feels like you can use it as a battle rifle and a makeshift sledgehammer if you had to... |
Yeah - the poll should have said "Flash Hider". My bad. What best needs my needs? It's mostly aesthetic at this point in time. |
Actually you would be wrong again - it's Flash Suppressor, not hider. Don't make me sic LarryG36 on you - it's his particular snit. Some are combo suppressor/brake units as well. I don't like all the circular grooves on some of the long units, harder to clean for the anal types. |
And here I thought the spelling Nazis were bad.

Depends and I don't know why I feel this way. On a STG58 for some reason the long one looks better On the Belgium I like the short one. I want to put a Vortex type on my Belgium but can't find the guy who sells them. I was told Yankee Hill Machine is suppose to be making one. |
