| Been a while since I did a short upper, can anyone pass along any tips they have about getting one to run properly? Barrel is 10.5" My gas port is opened to .093 and I plan to apply a DFender ring to the extractor. What are your suggestions? |

I have a 10.5" upper and it runs perfect, stock from the factory. No Dfender ring, no super springs, just throw it on the upper and run her till you run out of ammo. I am not sure about my gas port, guess I can mic it and see the size. I also built the upper for my cousins SBR and didn't do anything special but put all the parts together. Neither have had a problem to date, and now its going on 3 years they been out there. .02 |
