I have the Gsa Plug on my 716 that does not screw in or out like my 516. Is this the new type of gas block or the original style. My 516's screw out to be cleaned and screw back in.

Called SIg and they said yes it is teh new style. I really like that because it makes cleaning even easier. Just twist  and  out it comes. Much faster than having to unscrew it and if to much carbon builds up it can be a PIA.

The little detent pin is much easier to get at too. The new 516 rifles are shipping that way now too.
