[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Sig AR

I have a friend who is looking to buy a Sig AR.
He can buy it for about 70% of what it list for.
Has anyone heard or read any reviews on them.
Opinions or comments welcome.

He is spending around $800 - $1200
Range use and prarie dog hunting is what it will be used for. Accuracy is his main concern.
If you want to list other options(other AR's) for him to consider please list below.

He can't buy that gun right now. They are not being sold yet. Hopefully by the end of the year.It is not an AR it is a SIG 556 with an AR stock. Very different animal.

They way I read it that is was not yet available.
My friend told me that he can have the rifle in a couple of months.. not sure about that.
I told him best to go with a Bushy, RRA or CMMG.
CMMG is just 30 minutes from us so best place to go and pick what he wants.

I am excited about the Sig556. It will be a hell of a gun.
