On the adjustable sidefolder stock...what does the small springloaded sliding button do? Not the large stock length adjustment lever. Been playing with it and it doesn't seem to do anything on mine.

Thanks

when you hold tension on it it allows the stock to be slid off.

It allows you to remove the stock.

And those mystery plastic pieces that came with your enlarged buttpad? If you push the two pins in the stock extension out (when you have the stock off), that's where they go. Useful if you always keep it at the second or third position but have to collapse the stock for storage or something like that. Allows you to just pull on the stock and it will reset to your position.
