I don't think there is a need as the ASR uses what appears to be an acme type thread which is more robust than the finer threads used by YHM, Thunder Beast, Griffin, etc. If you really need one you might be able to get a machinist to spin one up for you. Maybe contact Morgan at Class 3 Machining???

I emailed Silencerco last week about this. I got this reply from KC -

Thank you for contacting us. We do not have plans for a thread protector for the ASR muzzle device. If you somehow damage your muzzle device so badly that the suppressor will not mount to it let us know and we will replace it.

I'd be more concerned with damaging the teeth than the threads though.

I looked at that, but I can buy another silencer for the price of the shield and mount.

I just use my specwar 762, specwar 556, specwar 556k, onega, or harvester as thread protectors. To each their own.
